Progression
Every CAPQ qualification is written to the SCQF level descriptors. One SCQF credit point represents 10 notional hours of learning, and each level is referenced to the European Qualifications Framework and the RQF used in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Select a level.

Submit the application with your staffing, premises or online learning platform details, policies and quality procedures.
Our quality team reviews your evidence and carries out an approval visit, on site or remote, to confirm you can deliver and assess to standard.
Once approved, you sign the centre agreement and receive specifications, assessment materials and onboarding for your tutors.
Register learners, deliver and assess. Your external quality assurer supports you through each cohort until certificates are issued.
Quality assurance
Each CAPQ award passes through four checks before a learner's certificate is issued.
CAPQ qualifications are developed against the SCQF level descriptors and credit rating criteria, and are being prepared for credit rating by an approved SCQF Credit Rating Body. The levels and credit points shown are as designed, and each qualification's rating will be published here once it is confirmed.
Learning outcomes, assessment criteria and grade descriptors are written to the stated level and reviewed by subject specialists.
Centres sample and verify their own marking before results are submitted, using CAPQ templates.
CAPQ quality assurers sample learner work, review centre processes and confirm results before certification.
Certificates carry a unique number, the qualification level and its credit value, so employers can confirm what was achieved.
Policies and documents
Our policies set out how assessment, appeals and learner support work at every approved centre. Approved centres receive the full set at onboarding; anyone may request a copy.
International
CAPQ qualifications are written for international delivery: assessed in English, with clear level mapping and guidance for centres working across education systems.
